In Loving Memory of Arthur “Pat” C. Searle

January 14, 1943 - December 25, 2025

 

Arthur “Pat” C. Searle, 82, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather of Morton, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at his home. He is now at rest with our Lord and Savior.

Pat was born in Peoria on January 14, 1943, to Wilbur and Harriet (Lopeman) Searle. In 1971, he married the love of his life, Sandra “Sandy” Carpenter, who survives him.

He is also survived by 2 sons, Tom and Tim, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and chosen family friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Harriet Searle, and his brother.

Throughout his working life, Pat was employed at the Canning Factory and Rock Quarry in Princeville, as well as Slevin’s Container Company in Peoria. He eventually found his professional home at Caterpillar, where he served faithfully until his retirement after 39 years of service.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Cremation Specialist of Illinois is assisting the family.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date for all those who knew and loved him.
