Obituary of Kathryn A. Finney

Kathryn A. Finney, 67, of Peoria, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, while awaiting a heart transplant. She was born in Peoria on December 17, 1958, to Ronald and Mary (Bartolomucci) Dennis.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Dennis of Peoria; her siblings, Debbie Bontz of Peoria, Anthony (Amy) Dennis of Hernando, FL; Steven (Lori) Dennis of Kansas City, MO, and David Dennis of Washington; and 11 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald.

Kathryn worked as an administrative assistant at State Farm for 40 years.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Cremation Specialist of Illinois is assisting the family. A private family mass will be held at a later date.
