Obituary of Beverly A. Mackey

Beverly A. Mackey, 72, of Peoria, IL passed away at her home on Sunday, June 28, 2026. She was born on August 5, 1953, in Peoria, to Milton and Geraldine (Foster) Roe.

Beverly married Elex Mackey; he preceded her in death on September 24, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Ortiz and great granddaughter, Lani Baker.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelli and son, Kevin (Subrina) Burger; grandchildren, Kori, Lucas, Paige, Collin (Nikki), Brock, Tristen, Jessie, and Regan; and great grandchildren, Coty, L’Lee, Joshua, Lyla, Dustin, Lucas Jr., Cailey, Navii, Hendrixx, and Alaia.

Beverly had a paralegal degree and worked as a retail manager with Walmart for 20 years.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation Specialist of Illinois is assisting the family.
