Obituary of Roberto Pizano Pizano
Roberto Pizano Pizano, 63, of Mapleton, originally of Mexico, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at his home. He was born in Casacuaran, Guanajuato, Mexico on January 30, 1962, to Roberto Pizano Calderon and Reyna Pizano Leon. He married Diane Louise Goodwin on April 8, 1995, she survives.
Also surviving are his son Rico Rosario Andres Pizano and a nephew that he raised as a son Miguel Angel Benitez; brothers, Raul (Griselda) Pizano, Ruben (Rosa Maria) Pizano, Javier (Julieta) Pizano, and Ramiro (Lola) Pizano; sisters, Rosalba Pizano and Ma. Carmen (Angel) Pizano; grandchildren, Esmeralda, Adrianna, Roberto, Jamari, Elijah, Massiah, Iyana, Malaya, and Neveah; and one great grandson.
He was preceded in death by both his parents.
Roberto was a high school graduate and attended the Academia De Policia De Mexico City, graduating in 1982 as a Federal Police Officer in Mexico City. He last worked for Isaacson’s Concrete and Excavating. He loved his job and the people he worked with very much.
He was a diehard Chicago Bears and White Sox fan, and he also loved Cruz Azul soccer team. Roberto enjoyed grilling out, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. Roberto always had jokes and loved playing pranks on those he loved.
