Obituary of Brodie Jay Mueller

Brodie J. Mueller, 35, of Peoria Heights, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at his home. He was born in Peoria on July 18, 1990, to Jason and Barbara (Simonds) Mueller.

He is survived by his sister, Jessica Mueller; grandparents, Joan Kidd, Bob Huntley and Betty Mueller; as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jason and Barbara (Simonds) Mueller and his daughter, Laila Jay Aliyah Mueller.

Brodie graduated from Hillsdale High School in Jeromesville, Ohio.

Brodie was a vibrant soul with a deep love for nature, animals, and basketball. His brilliance and inner beauty inspired those around him, and he had the potential to achieve anything he dreamed of. With a smile that brightened every room, Brodie touched the hearts of everyone he met. His passing leaves a profound void, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Cremation Specialist of Illinois is assisting the family.
