Obituary of Jerome Francis Prusak

Jerome (Jerry) F. Prusak, 65, of Morton, left this life for his eternal home on Friday, August 6, 2021. Jerry was born November 10, 1955 to the late John S. and Beatrice T. (O’Connor) Prusak/Schwartz in Buffalo, New York. He was also preceded in death by his second dad, Edward F. Schwartz; sister Peggy Grimes; and brothers Eddie Paul Schwartz, John Prusak, Bob Schwartz and Joe Prusak. Surviving are his sisters, Mary Paterson, Theresa (Joe) Bender; Cathy (Dave) Weber and brother, Wayne (Sharon) Schwartz; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends. Jerry was a very talented artist. Cremation rites have been accorded. Cremation Specialist of Central Illinois is assisting the family. Per Jerry’s request, there will be no services. Anyone wishing to make a donation in Jerry’s memory may do so to the Morton Farmers Market, Morton Fine Arts Association or The Salvation Army.The family wishes to thank all the doctors and nurses at Unity Point Methodist for their excellent care and treatment of Jerry.
