Obituary of Frederick C Monroe
Frederick C. Monroe, Jr., 65, of Peoria, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at UnityPoint Methodist Hospital in Peoria. He was born in Peoria on April 17, 1956, to Frederick, Sr. and Delenia (Carter) Monroe; they preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Steve (Jennifer) Monroe and his daughter, Stephanie (Bryan) Sargent, both of Peoria; several brothers and sisters; nine grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
Frederick served in the Illinois Army National Guard and worked as a garbage man for Peoria Disposal Company for many years until he suffered an injury and was unable to work.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Cremation Specialist of Central Illinois is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be left at www.csofil.com.
